From the south coast of Argentina the ship is crossing the ocean nearby Cape Horn, the welknow or notorious for sailors the Drake Passage. During this passage an enormous amount of birds will dance with us on the waves. After several days we reach the South Shetlands Islands, a bit north of the Antarctic continent.
We will anchor daily in beautiful bays in the Antarctic waters. With the dinghy's we will visit the shores, glaciers, seals- birds and penguin colonies. It will hardly get dark in this area. In these waters we also shall meet different types of whales. A bit more south we shall enter the Antarctic peninsula. The adventure can start!
Would you like to experience Antarctica an other way, in a smaller group. Sail with us on one of the private yachts, an nice, fully equipped ship of just over 14 metres. There is room for a maximum of 6 guests. You can take a glance of this ship on our website. You can join the trip as individual or as a group. Mind you that there is not so much privacy. The sailing is unique, the season is very short so be in time.

Every year in November a lot of yachts make the Atlantic crossing to the Caribbean. They mostly start on the Canaries, because the ARC rally starts there.
In April / May most yachts return to Europe starting from St. Martin passing the Azores.
From Martinique where you are boarding Tara we sail to St. Anne for a day relaxing and getting used to the climate. Then we set sail to St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines where the islands are very close to each other. The Tobago Cays is a wonderful area at a reef for diving, swimming and snorkeling. We visit St. Lucia(Marigot Bay en Rodney Bay), St. Vincent(Wallilabou Bay), Bequia, Canouan, Mayreau, Mustique, and the Tobago Cays.

Island hopping in the Caribbean
A perfect way of experiencing the Caribbean is on a ship. The sailing area is magnificent and you'll reach places you never expected. You're sailing with a Dutch vessel and "hopping" from one island to another island and from one bay to another bay. The crew can tell you a lot about the area, nature an culture on the different islands. The meals provided on the ship are excellent. Enjoy the exotic cocktails.
Stay wherever you like to stay and explore the island, go snorkling or diving, go to the beach or rent a car, whatever you like.

Griechenland
Griechenland und die Türkei sind als Sonnenländer bekannt. Freundliche Einwohner und ein lockerer und doch preiswerter Lebensstil. Beide Länder sind reich an Kultur. Weiße Segel, zauberhafte Buchten, kleine Fischerdörfer und das immer blaue Wasser sind der Dekor Ihrer Ferien.
Korfu, die grüne ionische Insel mit ihren Zypressen und Olivengärten, gilt als der Blumen- und Kräutergarten Griechenlands. Das Ionische Meer ist ideal für einen Segelurlaub. Man segelt geschützt zwischen dem Festland und dem lang gestreckten Korfu, Paxos und Anti Paxos. Hier herrscht Ruhe und Schönheit.
Das Wetter ist schön und vorhersehbar: still am Morgen, ein guter Segelwind am Nachmittag und ruhig am Abend.
Korfu-Stadt (Kerkyra) ist ein moderner, lebhafter Ort mit vielen Geschäften und Terrassencafés. Enge Ladengassen wechseln sich mit belebten Einkaufszentren und Boulevards ab. Die Stadt mit ihren vielen Altertümern ist ein lohnendes Ziel.
Im Nordosten Korfus liegt die Bucht von Agni, einem kleinen Ort, der nur auf dem Wasserwege oder über einen Bergpfad erreichbar ist. Bucht Kalami, Bucht Kalouri, Stefanos und Kassiopi sind vergleichbare Orte. Im Süden liegen Benitses und Petriti. In Sayiada auf dem Festland bekommt man die herrlichsten Scampis serviert und kann man wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge genießen.
Die Fahrt in südliche Richtung, vorbei am größeren Igoumenitsa, führt entlang zahlreicher schöner Buchten und kleiner Häfen, wie z. B. Mourtos und Parga mit seinem großen venezianischen Fort, zu den Inseln Paxos und Anti Paxos. Die Bucht von Lakka ist berühmt wegen ihrer Wasserfarbe. In Gaios gibt es viele nette Läden, und in Mongonisi ist es wunderbar ruhig. Auch in den Buchten im Osten von Anti Paxos zeigt sich das Wasser im wundervollen türkisen Schimmer.

Journey alang the Lesser Sunda Islands remain among our favorite itineraries and for good reasons. Few areas in Asia can lay claim to such cultural and natural diversity: towering active volcanoes, jungleclad mountains ranges and dry savannah, teeming wildlife, quiet coastal villages, emerald seas, megalithis cultures, colorful market placeas, tribal rituals and architecture, not to mention a world of kaleidoscopic beauty under water.
This cruise will cover the Komodo area for a couple of days of snorkling, beach combing and hiking thyrough ane of the most beautiful National Parks of Indonesia.
The Flores Highlands will be an opportunity to hike to some remote villages and witness the tedious process of ikat weaving, practiced amid unsurpassed scenery of gigantic volvanoes, bamboo forests and intriguingly coloured crater lakes.
Türkei, Lychische Küste
Für die abenteuerlustigen Segler und Sonnenliebhaber bietet die Lychische Küste ungeahnte Möglichkeiten. Unglaublich, wie reich die Türkei an Kultur und Geschichte ist. Da dieses Gebiet noch nicht vom Massentourismus entdeckt ist, können Sie die jetzt noch vorhandene Geschichte und Kultur in aller Ruhe bewundern. Dies gilt auch für die weißen Sandstrände und die türkisfarbigen Buchten, welche dieses Gebiet schmücken. Auch die Einheimischen sind liebenswert. Selten haben Sie freundlichere und gastfreiere Menschen getroffen, als die Küstenbewohner der Türkei. Finden Sie Ruhe und genießen Sie die Schönheit der Natur an wunderschönen Ankerplätzen mit kleinen Dörfern. Hier fühlt man sich mit Recht in alte Zeiten zurückversetzt.
Flottillensegeln
Fehlende Segelerfahrung auf weiten Gewässern hält viele davon ab, in See zu stechen. Wer gerne auf großen Gewässern segeln möchte und dabei Entspannung und Segelspaß mit Gleichgesinnten genießen möchte, für den ist Flottillensegeln wie geschaffen.
OCC Yachting organisiert Flottillensegeln in den griechischen und türkischen Gewässern. Unter Begleitung eines Mutterschiffs fährt man entlang der schönsten Inseln und Buchten. Die Tagesstrecken betragen in Griechenland üblicherweise 10 bis 15 Seemeilen, in der Türkei können es 25 Meilen oder mehr sein.
Der Flottillenführer bespricht allmorgendlich mit den Schiffsführern die Fahrt des jeweiligen Tages. Mit jeder Yacht gibt es UKW-Funkkontakt. Natürlich navigieren Sie selbst auf Ihr Ziel: einen antiken Hafen, ein gemeinsames Grillvergnügen am Strand oder einen Ankerplatz mit eindrucksvollem Sonnenuntergang. Abenteuer genug, und bei Unsicherheiten oder Problemen ist Hilfe da.
Bareboat-Segeln
Beim Bareboat-Segeln fahren Sie Ihre Route ohne Begleitung eines Flottillenführers. Wer die Navigation auf dem Ijsselmeer oder Wattenmeer gut beherrscht, kann auch in unseren Fahrgebieten segeln. Es ist wichtig, sich mit Schiffen, Technik und Schifffahren im Allgemeinen gut auszukennen. Denn wenn mal was schiefgeht, ist kein Flottillenführer da, der Ihnen helfen kann. Falls Sie sich unterwegs doch noch einer Flottille anschließen möchten, sind Sie natürlich herzlich willkommen.
Segelgebiet Lychische Küste
Von Göcek aus segeln Sie auf den inneren See von Skopea Liman und entdecken, daß hier eine Bucht schöner als die andere ist. Kleine Inseln und Dörfer wie Capi Creek und Boyunz Buku laden ein. Von Ihrer Yacht aus bewundern Sie die lychischen Gräber. Mehr nach Osten hin werden Sie Fethiye oder Kalkan besuchen. Fethiye ist eine größere Stadt mit vielen Geschäften und einem Marktplatz mit den herrlichsten Farben der angebotenen Gewürze, Obst und Gemüse. Wenn Sie sich etwas an die Umgebung gewöhnt haben, verlegen Sie Ihren Kurs nach Ekincik, Marmaris oder einen der vielen anderen Orte. Auch auf diesen Yachten sind Karten und Bordbuch vorhanden. Der Ankunftstag für unsere Flottillen-Gäste ist immer Samstag, deshalb werden auch unsere Bareboat-Gäste samstags erwartet.
